When we are closed

If you require urgent medical assistance outside of normal surgery hours between 18:30 and 08:00 weekdays or during weekends and bank holidays please call the surgery and listen carefully to the information given on the recorded message.

The Village Surgery also closes for a Forum Day on 1 Wednesday in each month. On this day the surgery will only be open until 12:00. To find out this specific date for each month please speak with a member of our team in reception. 

The Village Surgery is also closed during Public Bank Holidays.

Out-of-Hours Service

The Out-of-Hours Service is operated by Integrated Care Sefton and is available between 18:30 and 08:00 each day, plus weekends and bank holidays. The number to call is 0845 070 4422.

If you have a life threatening emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency. 

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day for telephone advice on 111 or online.
